In their latest effort to garner drivers' attention, Kia has enlisted its 2011 Optima Hybrid on a cross-country road trip, aiming to snag an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for achieving the best fuel economy in a gasoline hybrid car while driving through the America's 48 adjoining states.
