Kia Earns Environmental Award

Wondering about what kind of fuel-efficiency you'll find at Turner Kia? Well, to start, the stylishly designed 2012 Kia Optima gets an impressive 24/35 city/highway mpg. That's not even the Hybrid version, which boats an EPA-estimated 35/40 mpg. Or, how about a 2012 Kia Rio? 30 mpg city/40 mpg highway. And the funky 2012 Kia Soul can get up to 36 miles to the gallon on the highway.

Easy on the wallet, that's for sure. But how about on the environment? Kia's been sure to engineer all of their cars in a way that will ensure a clean and healthy environment for generations to come. In fact, recently, What Car? magazine in the United Kingdom recently gave Kia their Ultra Low Carbon Emission Award. That's right, not just one car either - they're recognizing the entire lineup.

Kia Motors Europe COO, Paul Philpott comments, "Kia has been striving over recent years not only to deliver exciting, attractive, high-quality cars - but also to deliver real benefits to customers in the form of clean technologies that don't carry a price premium. We are delighted that What Car? - one of Europe's leading consumer magazines - has recognized our efforts."1

The car that the magazine is particularly impressed with? The Kia Rio of course - with carbon emissions as low as 85g/km. To put this in perspective for you: that makes it the cleanest non-EV in the world.

What Car? editors were sure to note that these cars boast more than just fuel-efficient power trains. They boast impressive specs, award-winning style and handling that rivals major sports cars. Add to it the Kia 7-year warranty and the safety-feature loaded cabins, they're basically saying, you really can't go wrong with an investment in a Kia.

There's not much more we can tell you that you can't learn by simply dropping by Turner Kia to take a new Kia for a spin. See any models on our site that you'd like to learn more about? Contact us online to chat with a member of our team.
