Kia Makes Cars.com "Top 10 Urban Cars" List, Twice!

City drivers and country drivers handle the road differently, and so should their cars. City drivers need smaller, more efficient, easy-to-park vehicles that can turn on a dime. To help urban drivers find vehicles to suit their needs, Cars.com looked at 50 different vehicles and assessed these factors as well as driving visibility. In their published "Top 10 Urban Cars" list, Kia snagged two spots, with the 2011 Kia Soul and the 2011 Kia Forte Five-Door.

The five-seat 2011 Kia Forte hatch is less than 180 inches long and can turn in a tight 34-foot circle on 22-25 mpg (city). According to Cars.com editors, "It may not drive as sportingly as the MAZDA3 or even the Toyota Matrix, but the Forte costs significantly less and delivers better gas mileage. Those are two convincing reasons to go with the Kia [Forte]." 1

The 2011 Kia Soul is a bit edgier for those drivers who prefer to stand out from the crowd.  At about 160 inches long, with a 34-foot turning circle, 24-26 mpg and seats for five people, the Kia Soul allows drivers to do so - without being impractical. There's more to the Kia Soul than its unique body style, as Cars.com comments, "The trendy interior will appeal to a certain type of city dweller, with available features that include speakers the illuminate in sync with your music. Not surprisingly, they tend to work better with Lady Gaga than Lynyrd Skynyrd."2

Designed with urban drivers in mind, both models come with a suite of amenities. Available on most Kia Soul trims and on all Kia Forte Five-Door models, conveniences include AC, Sirius XM Satellite Radio capabilities, MP3 connectivity, Bluetooth and steering-wheel mounted controls. With the Kia Soul, buyers can also get three complimentary months of Sirius Satellite Radio service.

Feel free to drop into Turner Kia, located conveniently at 4201 Cambers Hill Road Harrisburg, PA, to learn more about the 2011 Kia Forte Five-Door or the 2011 Kia Soul.
