Four Kia Models Snag "Best Buy" Awards

Want get yourself behind the wheel of a Consumers Digest "Best Buy"? Well, stop in and see us at Turner Kia, because you'll find not just one, but four new Kia models recently named "Best Buys" by the consumer guide. This announcement follows the company's 14th consecutive month of record-breaking sales and best-ever October sales in their history.

In the "Family Car" category, the 2012 Kia Optima was one of seven cars named a "Best Buy." According to reviewers, they chose the Optima because it's fun to drive, is loaded with safety features, comes with an eight-speaker Infinity audio system, HD Radio and Kia's UVO voice-activated infotainment and communications system. Best part about the Optima? All this for a starting MSRP of just $19,500.

The publication chose two Kias in the "Compact SUV" category. The 2012 Kia Sorento and the 2012 Kia Sportage. Editors chose the Sorento as one of the four best compact SUVs because of its GDI engine, Kia's UVO voice-activated infotainment system, power passenger seat and power-folding mirrors, great fuel economy, cooled and heated front seats and starting price of just $21,250. It's also the first-ever U.S.-built Kia. The Sportage was applauded for its design as well as it convenience, comfort and safety features. The 260-hp, 2.0-liter Turbo GDI engine is super fuel-efficient (29-mpg/highway), and the car has a starting MSRP of just $18,500.

Critics have been buzzing about the 2012 Kia Soul for a while now, so it's no surprise that it was named a "Best Buy" in the Compact category. Consumers Digest agreed, awarding the Kia Soul for it's class-leading horsepower, EPA-estimated 35-mpg/highway, Idle Stop and Go (ISG) technology, and its exceptional value with a low starting price of just $13,900.
