Kia Joins With eBay

Kia and eBay Motors have teamed up to try selling new cars. South Korea's Kia is "the major automaker to create a nationwide selling place in eBay" says eBay. This would be the first auto maker to go nationwide with the eBay campaign. Others have tried but only on a regional level.

About half of the Kia dealers in the US will be sell their new Kia cars through an online "storefront."

Kia has had some major success with their all new Kia Forte. The hatchback variant is another top selling trim level both in the United States and Canada.
